François and Charlotte together run a famous hotel-restaurant at the seaside. Charlotte has been married in the past to Alex, a gambler and somewhat pathological liar. He had disappeared following an argument. Considered death, he reappears, justifying his long disappearance by the tsunami in Thailand, determined to win back his wife. The two men then locked in a fierce battle for the heart of Charlotte.
